When it comes to brewing up local partnerships, Braxton Brewery in Covington has been on the top of it’s game lately teaming up with the likes of Graeter’s & Bunbury Music Festival.
The brewery reached new heights (literally) with 102.7 WEBN, Cincinnati’s Rock Station, announcement of a new partnership with Braxton Brewing Company to name its Short Fuse Grapefruit Pale Ale as the official beer of the 2017 Western & Southern / WEBN Fireworks.
“The WEBN fireworks have been a part of the Rouse Family’s summer for as long as I can remember,” said Jake Rouse, Braxton Brewing Company Co-Founder & CEO. “For Braxton to now be a part of the show is a dream come true. This beer is perfect for summer days and light enough to enjoy long into the night. We can’t wait to lift one to life all summer long!”
The new canned beer is brewed with Centennial, Cascade and Chinook hops for floral and citrus notes and fresh grapefruit. You can try Short Fuse on draft and purchase cans in the taproom starting this Friday at 3pm.
The Official Launch Party will feature a live remote broadcast by WEBN’s The KiddChris Show. Attendees will be the first to be able to purchase six packs of the limited edition Pale Ale and try it on draft.
In addition, attendees will be eligible for special giveaways with prizes including: VIP experiences at the Western & Southern / WEBN Fireworks, official fireworks t-shirts, and meet and greet opportunities with on-air personalities from 102.7 WEBN, iHeartMedia Cincinnati and staff members from Braxton Brewery Company. Short Fuse will be available throughout the summer and will be available in Kroger, other retailers and bar/restaurants throughout greater Cincinnati starting Saturday, July 8.
