Listermann Collaborates With Hildebrandt On ‘Thank You’ Beer

Cincinnati, OH — Listermann Brewing Company is teaming up with FC Cincinnati goalie, Mitch Hildebrandt, on a “thank you” beer for the troops. The beer is named Thank You, as a way to show appreciation for our military service people, past and present. Ten percent of the proceeds from this beer will go to Tee it Up for the Troops Inc., an organization that helps wounded veterans cope with combat injury through golf.
Thank You is a New England style IPA coming in at 6.8% ABV, brewed with Apollo, Galaxy, and Simcoe hops. This beer will be available on draft and in 4 packs starting Friday, November 17th at 5 PM at Listermann Brewing Company. There will be around 120 cases available and are $12.99 a 4 pack.
“After several great performances on the pitch this season, we reached out to Mitch about the possibility of making a beer with him. He loved our beers and we fell in love with his humble, fun-loving demeanor. After extensive research and games of KanJam, we came up with the recipe for ‘Thank You.’ says Jason Brewer, General Manager at Listermann Brewing Company.
Mitch Hildebrandt had the following to say: “When the opportunity arose to team up with Listermann Brewing Company to create a signature beer, I couldn’t help but jump at the opportunity. We developed this idea to create something much more and to have more of an impact. The first, in a series of beers, is Thank You. My portion of the proceeds from this beer will go to Tee it Up for the Troops. Among helping active service people through numerous projects, this organization helps wounded veterans cope with combat injury through the activity of golf. Our military men and women are amazing people that I don’t think get the help, or recognition, they truly deserve. With that being said, from myself and everyone at Listermann we say Thank You!”
There will be Buck Hunt and shuffleboard tournaments with FCC Supporters groups starting at 6 pm.
