As mentioned previously, not much going on for me in the world of beer as I am on a drinking hiatus for a few months due to a surgery.
I did have an opportunity to visit Braxton Brewing Co. this past Monday for a builder’s preview. We were greeted with news of a new private space available for rent above the taproom among other things. Here’s a few pics from the newly available space.
Reminder: TONIGHT at Arnold’s Bar & Grill — 12 Beers of Christmas and Hanukkah Too featuring live music from one of Cincinnati’s hottest new bands, Chelsea Ford and the Trouble.
Coming Soon: Braxton 2017 Winter Block Party and Dark Charge release on December 2nd. It’s going to be fantastic!
Alright, let’s do this…Here’s some fresh newly approved beer labels from the area. Disclaimer: These labels are approved by the TTB but there is no guarantee that these will be released.

MadTree — Luna Lux
Per the press releases, A white IPA brewed with coriander and lemon peel, Luna Lux’s name translates to ‘moon light’ as a nod to the beer’s style and color. Craft beer drinkers can expect light fruit flavors from the coriander, lemon peel, and hops, along with a crisp clove finish from the Belgian yeast. For more information, click here.
MadTree — Are You Ready For Some Darkness
Ahh yes, one of my favorite beer labels. MadTree’s Bourbon Barrel Aged Are You Ready From Some Darkness stout brewed with hemp seeds. If I get to sip on this beauty, bring on the darkness.
