Alright, alright, alright, let the weekend begin! Before we get to the labels, here’s a few tidbits from around the area.
Down in at Braxton Labs, the releases keep flowing. Tomorrow, you can get your hand on Galaxy Dry Hopped Hopped Saison, their first bottle conditioned release, with champagne yeast to boot. For more information, click here.
Looking for a last minute Christmas gift for the beer and food lover in your family? How about this sharp looking cookbook from MadTree — Mix and Mash: Recipes for the Table and Glass. Portions of the sales benefit La Soupe whose mission is to rescue otherwise wasted produce to create delicious and highly-nutritious meals for customers, non-profits, and food-insecure families. ICYMI: Listermann released 3 new barleywines. The allotment was limited so not sure how much (if any) is left. Check with the brewery before you head over. Thanks to Matt Nagel for the heads up on what BIL stood for: Barleywine Is Life. I’m up-to-speed now.

Okay, let’s do this…Here’s some fresh newly approved beer labels from the area. Short and sweet again this week. Disclaimer: These labels are approved by the TTB but there is no guarantee that these will be released.
Braxton — Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout
It’s back! The release last year was a phenomena. I don’t recall the taproom more packed for any of their releases. It was a great marketing opportunity for both Braxton and Graeter’s. Hopefully, with a tad bit more Raspberry this time around.
Nowhere In Particular — Batch Number 017
I don’t know about this one. Milkshake IPA? Like they say, I guess I can’t knock it until I try it. Although, I might have to take your word for it on this one.
Nowhere In Particular — Batch Number 018
Okay, I can get down with this one. A stout brewed with Chocolate, Vanilla Beans and Graham Flour. Strike a match and start that fire. I’m in.
Platform — Never Swim Alone
A new beer from Cleveland based Platform Beer Co. This one, Never Swim Alone, a Berliner Weisse Style Ale is part of their Phunkenship Series.
Rhinegeist — Amy
Rhinegeist — Cafe Ink
Taft’s Ale House – Skronk Juice
So Taft had to go back to the drawing board on this label. The last one apparently didn’t sit well with a particular community. Label aside, I’m looking forward to this drinkable India Session Ale.
